Bridget & Eamon

Bridget & Eamon are back! Still stuck in their marriage in the Irish mid-midlands, in the mid-80s with 6-to-8 kids. Bridget wants the lifestyle from the pages of Woman’s Way but wouldn’t want to think about how much it would take to heat South Fork. All Eamon wants is to put his feet up with the newspaper in front of the TV and do nothing. Not meet anyone, not buy anything, not go anywhere but Bridget and the 80s just won’t let him be. In series two of the RTÉ2 sitcom, Bridget & Eamon continue getting in over their heads as they get caught up in a local election, find new best friends, miss a telephone call, open a hair dressing salon and Eamon’s Mammy comes to visit.

The Rubberbandits’ Guides

The Rubberbandits’ Guides is a four-part half-hour comedy series presented by comedians, part-time pop stars, and viral sensations the Rubberbandits. In each episode they take one subject (Sex, Money, The Internet and Reality) and bring us their own absolutely unique take on it - it’s like proper TV, except filled with jokes! The boys explore how money works, and how different approaches to filthy lucre create vastly different societies; they give their invaluable insights into the internet; use a large aquarium to explain the mating dance that keeps the human race alive; and reassure us all that what is happening to us, is actually real. Probably. The Rubberbandits’ Guides - just your average hybrid viral sitcom documentary, presented by two grown men wearing plastic bags.
