In Edge of Oblivion Vogue tackles the war on drugs asking if it can ever be won, meeting headshop entrepreneurs, visiting A&E to see the impact of synthetic drug use first hand and looking at harm reduction strategies in Switzerland. In Transgender Warriors she meets people who are bravely pushing the boundaries of gender - including a man who gave birth to his own daughter. In Addicted to Me, she looks at the modern obsession with the body beautiful and the lengths people will go to to get it; and in Trolled, Sextorted and Minutes from Death she shines a light on the real-world impact of online bullying, grooming, phishing, catfishing and scamming.

The Rubberbandits’ Guides

The Rubberbandits’ Guides is a four-part half-hour comedy series presented by comedians, part-time pop stars, and viral sensations the Rubberbandits. In each episode they take one subject (Sex, Money, The Internet and Reality) and bring us their own absolutely unique take on it - it’s like proper TV, except filled with jokes! The boys explore how money works, and how different approaches to filthy lucre create vastly different societies; they give their invaluable insights into the internet; use a large aquarium to explain the mating dance that keeps the human race alive; and reassure us all that what is happening to us, is actually real. Former world champion boxer Bernard Dunne joins the TRTÉ team with Bernard Dunne's Mythical Heroes, a brand new six-part series bringing the stories of the heroes of Irish mythology to life. Using a combination of drama reconstruction, documentary storytelling and animation, Bernard will take viewers to sites across Ireland synonymous with stories of Fionn MacCumhall, Cúchulain and the Children of Lir. Spooky Stakeout - The Movie is a feature length family adventure film featuring four young ghost-hunting schoolfriends hired to solve the vexing mystery of an ancient haunted castle in Ireland. Having solved two mysteries already, Team Spooky is surprised to find a common thread between all three but their ultimate goal remains finding a real ghost. Produced for RTÉ by Tailored Films, Spooky Stakeout - The Movie is aimed at 7-12-year-olds and the family audience. The RTÉ Animated Shorts Scheme '16 saw five shorts commissioned with three premiering on RTÉ2 this autumn. The scheme was established at the end of 2015 with the aim of supporting the development of new and emerging Irish animation talent. The three shorts premiering this autumn are: The Last Wrangler (Whackala Ltd); Urban Tails - Madra Rua (Pink Kong Studios) and The Totally Normal Everyday Adventure of Slaps & Sandbags. RTÉ’s flagship series for 7-12 year olds, Swipe TV, returns with even more great content for kids including new healthy lifestyle and drama strands plus lots of interactivity on Swipe TV's newly-enhanced App which is available 24/7 and features a number of new App exclusives. Presenters Claire and Simon - and Mebs the puppet - oversee more gunging mayhem on Mondays; on Wednesdays, Donncha O'Callaghan challenges viewers to get outdoors and get moving in 'Fit For Life' whilst Fridays see an exciting new mystery drama, Miss Mogul, and a super new series of Pop Up Pop Stars.
